Lush - Lip Scrub Heaven

So, I was chatting with one of my friends a fair few months ago about anything and everything and basically, putting the world to rights (as us girls do) and during our conversation, as always, it turned to beauty, make up and new purchases. She started telling me about her latest 'new love', a lib scrub from Lush.

Immediately, I knew that I wanted to try this. She explained that it was an exfoliating lib scrub, that basically cleaned your lips.  When I went shopping later that month, I popped into Lush and went on a smelling spree.

It is so hard to walk around Lush and not want to buy things. It smells divine. I absolutely love the clean fragrant smell. Its beautiful. I went and I found the lip scrubs, all beautifully presented and I began my smelling of the fragrances available. My favourite was Bubblegum - which I purchased (along with a couple of bath products too!) and I love!

 Basically, the main ingredient is castor sugar, which provides the 'exfoliating' aspect of the product. It's a lovely pink colour and it smells scrumptious. The best part is, after you have 'exfoliated' your lips, you get to lick off the excess product. A small amount of this product goes such a long way!

I now use this daily. Sometimes, as we all know too well, lips can feel dry and are in need of some TLC. I have started using this each morning, during my skin care routine, followed by a nourishing lip balm. Once I have finished my make up and I'm ready to start the day, I have lovely smooth lips and lipstick/gloss/stain glides on and sits beautifully. At the end of the day, again, I use this to refresh and cleanse my lips - they are now very well looked after. Perfect.
I would highly recommend this - it is a great way to look after the lips, which can sometimes be neglected within your skin care routine. I have used this every day since mid June time when I purchased this and I am yet to make any kind of dint in the tub. I can tell that it will last a very long time and the expiration date given is July 2014, so I have tonnes of time to use this!
