Since I last blogged about my skincare routine, I have undergone a massive change with my products. It would seem that my skin doesn't like products. The more products I use, the angrier my skin gets and suddenly it's more prone to outbreaks and sensitivity. Not good for me and certainly not pretty.
The Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is a cult beauty product that I have heard so much about, but it wasn't until I received this as a gift in a little taster set last year that I thought about actually trying it. At the time, I was totally in love with my new Michael Todd products - alas, this didn't work out for long and my skin was just so sad and kept breaking out. I stopped using everything I was at the time and my skin calmed down.
I decided to give the 'Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser a go and you know what - it's been about 4-5 months now and I am not looking back. I absolutely love it! I cannot remember the last time I loved a skincare product so much. This product is so gentle - just perfect.
Happy Skin
For those of you who don't know or haven't tried this, the Hot Cloth Cleanser is a cream based cleanser and it is said to 'quickly removes daily
grime and make up to leave skin clean, soft and radiant'. I have been using this every evening to cleanse my skin. It's also a plant based cleanser, so no nasty chemicals to dry out the skin like some cleansers.
A pump of this is more than enough - occasionally, I will go for an extra one if I feel my skin is that little more 'unclean' (Eww). The active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter, so the scent and texture of the cream is just lovely.
How to:
You simply apply this to dry skin and massage it gently all over the face.
Once this is all massaged in, you soak the muslin cloth in warm water and buff the cream away. This cleanses the skin and removes all of the make up and grime from your skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth. To the point where I like to sit and stroke my face! I cant resist soft skin!
So simple.
I know that I love this as initially, I used one of the little mini sized tubes that I received in my gift bag, that was super cute and lasted me an extraordinarily long time. I've since had another miniature and I am now on my 2nd full size tube. I picked up my most recent bottle of this from John Lewis - again - more cloths!! I now have about 7 or 8 of them, which is always a good thing! It's definitely safe to say that I am hooked and I love this. It's my bathroom staple now and I just know that my skin would be sad without it.
I would definitely recommend this. Have you tried it? Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

The Liz Earle cleanser is one of my go too's, I love this for the morning cleanse or as the product I'll take on holiday when I want to keep things simple.
